Scholars,
I liked the dense questions you posed to driving an interesting discussion about Book 22 of The Iliad. Remember to prepare the following for Tuesday: 1. Read Book 24; be able to describe Homer's use of imagery to depict the exchanges between Priam and Achilles. 2. Answer all questions on p. 409 entitled "Apply the Skills." 3. Study Books 1,6, and 22 in order to take the formative assessments on Tuesday. In addition to the plot, pay special attention to the literary devices such as imagery, epic simile, foreshadowing and theme. Be able to identify and explain how Homer uses these devices to embellish the story. Enjoy your weekend!! Go Falcons!!! Monday
