Scholars,
Welcome back to 2018! January 9: Introduction to Flipgrid/Independent Reading 1. We will utilize Flipgrid to spark our independent reading discussions. The first discussion, that deals with cultural archetypes and stereotypes, will take place at the end of the week. In your independent reading sessions, annotate (find examples of) archetypes and stereotypes presented, then ask yourself if you agree with the author's depiction of the archetype, or is it more a stereoptype? As you form your response, keep in mind other similar archetypes by other authors as a point of comparison.
